Flower Girl Dress

One of the wedding church’s rule is that the bearers and the flower girls should be at least 4 years old.

Ai’s nieces are too young to be their flower girls (well, except for Sazha, who is now 13 years old). Erick has an eight year old niece, but the couple is not sure if E’s sister will allow her daughter to be their flower girl since they are INC members.

Anyway, even if Ai and Erick do not have a flower girl yet, there’s one thing they want for their little girl/s — NO to slutty flower girl dresses! Ai loves to browse wedding websites and one of her wedding pet peeves is seeing flower girls in provocative dresses! For heaven’s sake! They’re kids!!!

A Pop of Color: Bridal Shoes

Nowadays, brides tend to steer away from the traditional white/ivory/ecru or gold or silver bridal shoes. Ai had always wanted accent shoes. Albeit a pair of Loubs/Jimmy Choos/Manolos is totally way out of their budget, that wouldn’t stop the bride from checking out less expensive pairs.

Infinity Dress

Ai wants their bridesmaids and the female secondary sponsors to have reusable dresses — something they could wear even after Ai and Erick’s wedding.  The bride thought of buying off-the-rack dresses instead of having the entourage members go through the hassle of visiting the dress shop for the measurements and fittings.

Bearers’ Attire

Since the groom will be wearing a suit, the couple decided that the male entourage will not wear Barong Tagalog.

Anyway, Ai and Erick know that the bearers would most probably run and play during the wedding reception and the kids could feel uncomfortable wearing suits so they thought of a different outfit for the bearers:

suspenders, newsboy cap, funky bow tie, and sneakers

Or instead of bow ties, the bearers could wear cute neckties

Or the bearers could be as fashionable as this kid

The bride might have to "DIY" the bearers' bow tie to match the color palette
